Nexia S&A assisted Kresk Développement in carrying out the financial due diligence of Setic & Pourtier during a primary LBO conducted alongside Arcole, the shareholder who remained the majority shareholder in the transaction.
Based in Roanne, Setic & Pourtier achieved a turnover of €64 million in 2025 and employs nearly 200 people. The company operates in the industrial products and services sector, with a specialization in the manufacture of machines for the cable industry.
Founded several decades ago in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Setic & Pourtier has established itself as a reference player in its market thanks to its expertise in equipment for electrical and digital infrastructures. The company designs rotating machines dedicated to the production of cables for the energy transition and digital infrastructure markets. Its positioning in fast-growing markets, combined with recognized industrial expertise and an asset-light model, constitutes a significant competitive advantage. The group also benefits from a secure order book over several years.
This operation aims to support a new growth cycle for Setic & Pourtier, in particular through the development of the services business and the study of external growth opportunities in Europe and North America.
